Dry Needling Explained

Dry needling aids in the reduction of tissue contracture such as tendon, ligament, muscle tissue, and connective tissue, all whilst the needles stimulate blood flow to the contracted muscle; brings more oxygen supply and nutrients in. Helping the muscle to relax, soften and get back to a normal happy state.

Dry Needling is an extremely efficient & is an effective technique in the treatment of myofascial pain, injury and chronic muscular dysfunction. It can be used as a sole treatment method but we are huge believers that it works a treat when used in conjunction with deep tissue massage, mobilisation and corrective exercises.

Clinical Myotherapists have been through years and years of extensive dry needling theory (what happens in the brain & at the muscle site) and practice at university, in clinical hours and post grad settings.
